Thousands of students, builders, and researchers applied to the Polaris Fellowship 2026: India's most selective residential program, ten seats nationwide, six months embedded inside the country's sharpest startups and venture firms. Round 1 filtered the noise. Round 2 asked for an unscripted video: who are you beyond the resume, what have you actually shipped, what's the most ambitious thing worth building in the next ten years.
Receipts, not roadmaps.
Round 3 changed the question: not what you plan to build, but what you've already built, in the trenches, where it broke and what no tutorial covered. The brief was to walk through one project in full technical depth: architecture, the hardest problem solved, and what would be done differently next time.

Clearing Round 3's technical deep dive earned a place in Round 4, the final round: a thirty to forty five minute interview with the Polaris panel, the last filter before ten seats are named in Bangalore.
