Three systems on Stellar, each solving a different problem

What can you actually build on Stellar and Soroban beyond simple payments?

Stellar is usually described as a payments rail, and the interesting work starts where a plain payment stops being enough. I have built three systems on it. PayZoll runs multi-tenant batch payroll on the Stellar Disbursement Platform, and the constraint that defined it was throughput: SDP holds eight channel accounts, about two transactions per second, and Soroban's authorization tree lets one channel account fan out into many parallel contract calls, which moved it to roughly 200. Tesseract extends the same platform with channel-account rotation so the depositor and the recipient cannot be linked. VEIL is a shielded note pool giving a Stellar wallet private transfers and prediction markets on testnet. PayZoll came first in the Stellar Build Better hackathon and carries a $100K SCF grant.
